Célébrations des 40 ans du BED-IN de John et Yoko

Activités en commémoration des 40 ans du Bed-in de John Lenon et Yoko Ono.
Production IN PAX et leurs partenaires tiennent une conférence de presse au Foufounes Électriques (87 Sainte-Catherine est), mardi le 26 mai 2009 à 11h00.
La programmation du BED-IN 2009 Paix et Humour y sera dévoilé, soit plus d'une semaine complète d'activité entre le 26 mai et le 2 juin 2009.
Parmi les activités prévues, il y a une marche paresseuse en pyjama pour la paix et l'humour où tous et chacun est invité à amener son oreiller.
Il y a également un lit public, dressé pendant plus d'une semaine au bar Foufounes Électriques, dans lequel se déroulera entre autres une peinture en direct avec une vingtaines de peintres ainsi que le lancement d'une oeuvre collective intitulée "give peace another chance".
Il y a aussi la nuit blanche au Parc de l'Espoir lors de l'ouverture de la voie piétonnière sur Sainte-Catherine (Aires Libres). Il s'agit d'un lit public, dressé dans le parc pendant 24 heures, où se succéderons politiciens et artistes dont notamment Benoit Labonté, Martin Lemay, Gilles Duceppe, François "grobama" Gourd, Amhir Khadir, Stéphane Crète, Mado Lamothe et nombreux autres.
Sans compter l'intervention dans le métro, qui est prévue durant une heure de pointe le matin, où une bande de rêveurs, armés d'oreiller, tentera de convaincre les gens de retourner au lit et d'y rester pour la Paix.
Finalement, des prestations pour la Paix et l'Humour d'artistes et de citoyens de plusieurs pays (Brésil, République Tchèque, Russie, Grèce, États-Unis, Canada) seront présentés en direct via WEB-TV tout au long de la semaine.

Activities to commemorate the 40 years of the Bed-in of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Production in PAX and its partners will hold a press conference at Foufounes Électriques (87 Sainte-Catherine East), Tuesday May 26 2009 at 11:00.
The programming of the BED-IN 2009 PEACE&LAUGH will be unveiled, with more than a week of activity between 26 May and 2 June 2009.
Among the planned activities, there is a lazy walk in pajamas for peace and humor where everyone is invited to bring is pillow.
There is also a public bed, raised for over a week at the Foufounes Électric, in which will take place a PEINTURE EN DIRECT, party's and the launch of a collective work entitled "give peace another chance."
There is also the night at the Parc de l'Espoir at the opening of the pedestrian path on St. Catherine (Aires Libres). This is a public bed, raised in the park for 24 hours, in which politicians and artists, including Benoit Labonte, Martin Lemay, Gilles Duceppe, Francis "grobama" Gourd, Amhir Khadir, Stéphane Crête, Mado Lamothe and many others.
Besides there is an intervention in the subway, which is scheduled during a peak hour in the morning, where a bunch of dreamers, armed with pillows, try to convince people to return to bed and stay there for Peace.
Finally, artists and citizens of several countries (Brazil, Czech Republic, Russia, Greece, United States, Canada, and more) will be presented live via the web-TV throughout the week .
